What is DHA?
DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is the active ingredient in self-tanning products.When applied dihydroxyacetone reacts with dead cells in the skin's surface layer to temporarily darken the skin and simulate a tan.
Is it safe to spray tan when pregnant?
Its advised to tan after first trimester. DHA isn't to go through beyond the outer layer of the skin, it isn't absorbed into the body.

Teresa Boyd Tanning typically offers appointments between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm. Appointments requested outside these standard hours, particularly early-morning bookings, may incur an additional out-of-hours fee.
How long will my tan last?
Your tan should last 5-7 days, but longer if you look after your skin by moisturizing every day and avoid very hot showers. The more you look after your tan, the longer you can expect it to last and the more even the fade will be.
How long does a spray tan take?
It takes just 15 minutes for a top to toe spray tan! It’s super quick, hassle free with flawless finish. The whole app should be 30 min long.
What shall I wear after my appointment ?
Once your skin dries you should wear loose clothing to avoid creating any marks on the skin.
Which areas do you cover for mobile app?
Teresa Boyd Tanning covers most areas of North, East, North West and Central London. Please note that an additional Congestion Charge fee will apply to appointments within the Congestion Charge Zone. Additional travel fees may also apply to bookings outside Teresa’s usual service areas.
